Charlie has been a professional actor now for 11 years making his film debut in 1999 in the Film 4 movie ‘Purely Belter’ aged 17. Since then he has graduated from Sunderland University with a degree in Drama and performed many roles both on stage and screen. Charlie played the role of ‘Buttons’ in 2008, in the Pantomime “Cinderella” at the Journal Tyne Theatre and has returned to play several roles since. Some of his most recent credits include ‘The Machine Gunners’ at The Customs House (Theatre), Joe Maddisons War (ITV), Inspector George Gently series 4 (BBC), Tracy Beaker Returns (BBC), and currently ‘Romeo & Juliet’ at The Customs House (Theatre). he is also the face of Pot Noodle having starred in their recent advert.
